Sannyasnews supports this intiative from Giten, and urges others to consider giving it their support also.
Sannyasnews will attempt to give this story wider coverage when we have fuller information in the next weeks. Dhanyam has done much for sannyas, and keeping it alive in many outposts, and also keeping alive a sense of irony and open mindedness.
It was his magazine for example that first published the so-called Tooth Truths of Devageet in 1998, which until that time were often rubbished by devotees as spurious nonsense until word came from Osho's dentist himself.
He was always keen to lend his support to networking amongst the whole community of sannyas. i remember how his magazine at my request gave much wider coverage than sannyasnews could to the small Chinese commune that still continues to grow despite opposition from the Communist authorities in that country. This among many things he did to encourage and support sannyasins everywhere.
