NBA Jersey Day returns for the third time of the year on December 14th

In 1998, after being selected by the Milwaukee Bucks as the ninth pick in the NBA draft and traded to the Dallas Mavericks, Dirk Nowitzki held up his first-ever blue-and-white No. 41 jersey as his monumental career began. In 2022, fans around the world witnessed Nowitzki rise to the rafters of the American Airlines Center in Dallas after 21 seasons.

As the league celebrates its 76th season, its style on the pitch continues to evolve and change. But one thing remains the same: an NBA jersey will always be a tribute to those who wore it before, as well as a representation of those who made their mark in today’s game.

On December 14, 2022, NBA fans around the world can celebrate their favorite NBA teams, players and threads on NBA Jersey Day.

Fans can participate by following these three steps:

3. Tag your favorite teams and players for a chance to be featured on league and team social media channels.

In previous seasons, teams have changed their signature colors, retired jersey numbers and introduced new uniform editions. But whether they’re rocking a vintage Magic Johnson jersey or the 2022-23 Nets City Edition jersey, fans can show off their signature style wherever they are.
