‘Soft A** League’: Kevin Durant and NBA fans in disbelief as Luka Doncic gets weirdest foul ever

The Dallas Mavericks avoided losing three straight games when they defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 114-121. Although the game was not without drama as the Thunder almost took the game away from the Mavericks in the final minutes of the game. However, what left fans and even Nets star Kevin Durant in disbelief was the foul on Luka Doncic.

The Mavericks were able to control the tempo of the game for most of the four quarters. Additionally, Luka Doncic appeared to be on point throughout the game, scoring and finding teammates for the open eye.

Kevin Durant couldn’t believe the bad reputation
However, a play in the third quarter of the game confused the Mavericks players and Luka Doncic was absolutely furious. As the third quarter began, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander drew a foul from Dwight Powell.

He drove to the rim and got one and one. Luka Doncic yelled at his teammate to motivate him in defense. However, to his utter disbelief, Doncic was called out for a technical foul and began to protest.
Besides, it wasn’t just Doncic who was in disbelief. Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant commented on the Instagram post about the altercation. he commented “What are we doing @refs ?????????????”
The fans, on the other hand, called the referees of the game. one fan commented, “Referees need to be fined for wtf.” Another fan commented: “Referees make it so hard to enjoy watching.” Fans have been out here commenting, “Soft a** League, NBA trying to soften grown men.”

As much as fans hate to see it, technical fouls are called to keep the game in check. The fact that Doncic was called to a technician to talk to his teammate was perhaps a little outrageous.
Mavericks also called the umpires earlier
Spencer Dinwiddie made headlines recently. He claimed an NBA official made disrespectful remarks to him during one of their matchups against the Toronto Raptors. Dinwiddie brought up the incident in a post-game conference.
