A Tesla driver crashed into a wall before driving into a residential swimming pool owned by Disney’s top human resources attorney – in one of the more bizarre accidents amid Southern California’s storm chaos.

The Pasadena Fire Department tweeted a photo of the submerged white vehicle Tuesday morning, adding that its occupants, including children, were rescued by “good Samaritans.”

“A Tesla driver put his foot on the accelerator instead of the brake, drove through a wall and into a pool.

“Three occupants in the vehicle, including a child.

“Good Samaritans jumped into the pool and rescued the inmates,” the department wrote at 9:35 a.m. “PFD and PPD are on site, 700 blk. West California Blvd. [Pasadena].’

The $2 million Spanish-style home is owned by Shawna Swanson, Disney’s Chief Employment Counselor.

When contacted by DailyMail.com, Swanson, 54, confirmed the house was hers but declined to comment further.

The photo, tweeted by local firefighters, shows the smashed stucco and red brick wall in the foreground with the white Tesla Model S underwater in the backyard pool.

Local news channel Fox11 reported that two workers at a nearby school saw the accident and jumped into the pool to rescue the occupants: two adults and a four-year-old child.

Nobody was injured in the incident.
