OSHO MEDITATIONS AT PLANET JANET
COVER WHILE WE ARE AWAY FROM 3RD JUNE TO 9TH JULY
Phoebe and I founded Planet Janet* (see below) to provide a safe space for Osho meditations, as the centre of a Buddha field. We both have received so much benefit from them, that we want to give others the same opportunities. We have been organising drop in dynamic on Tues, Thurs, (0730-0830) and Sat
mornings, (8-9am) and Kundalini on Thurs and Sat afternoons (5-6pm) for about 18 months so far, charging £2 per person, free to staff and therapists working regularly there. We have been getting between 0 and 6, average about 2 paying persons per session. This is slowly increasing as people get to know about it, and we have various fliers, which are in the flier rack, and which we distribute in the locality. We do not pay for room hire, as we have built 24 hours per month free into our rental contract for the next 5 years with Claire and Richard, who are now running Planet Janet under a lease, as we own the building.
The problem is getting leaders to cover for us when we are away. We are going away for a total of 6 weeks from Sat 30th May to Friday 9th July (although we are back briefly from Wed 9th to Mon 14th June) We are faced with the options of either closing down the service or finding someone to replace us.
We would much appreciate volunteers to keep the service going. We will give you a teach in.
If we get additional leaders, we would like to increase the frequency of the service, perhaps to daily dynamic, (as the building is unused then, so we can probably get it free) and perhaps occasional white robe evenings, and meditation days. We have Osho tapes, videos and books which we can use. We eventually want it to become the centre of a Buddha field.
